Palliative Care

Palliative and hospice are often used interchangeably, they are in fact different. Hospice is typically defined as care of the terminal or dying person. Whereas, palliative care is supportive care for clients with a wide range of suffering and other need.

At Honesty Home Care palliative care was introduced to help our caregivers to provide care that is supportive, soothing, comforting, and attends to the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of our clients. Palliative care benefits people with chronic health condition. Hospice care is aimed at providing patients with a dignified, terminal illness, pain-free end of life and is mostly provided in the patient’s home.

Through our continuum of care services, we are able to provide quality, competent, and supportive care that enriches the lives of those we serve. We initiated palliative care to integrate best practices to effectively support our clients and their families. Palliative care helps maintain quality of life and relieves suffering for many individuals.
